Caley's Sweet Sixteen Birthday

Caley is the sixteen year old daughter of Skip and Johanna Evans.  Last Sunday I had the extreme privilege to capture her sixteenth birthday.....and if I were rating all the events that I have had the opportunity to photograph ..... I would have to say that this one touched my heart the most ....... I think I cried as much as I took pictures......... Caley was dressed in a black sequin dress and was just beautiful!   I am sure you will  agree when you see her pictures.

Chet & Lynn Smith - 5 year anniversary

Five years and counting ......Lynn and Chet Smith recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary..... and to celebrate we met at Jekyll Island, GA to recapture the special moment that happened 5 years ago! This was my daughter Kellie Brooke's first official photo shoot .............. I am so proud of her - I think she captured some great shots! In fact, she did such a great job that after I have mixed our images together I can't tell which ones are hers and which ones are mine :):)

Kellie and I decided that the song that fits Lynn and Chet best is .............."I thought I loved you then" by Brad Paisley.....When you see their pictures I am sure you will agree with us ......
and yes they are still counting!!!!!

Jamie's 13th Birthday

I have finally recovered from the busy weekend to blog :)
On Friday evening we celebrated Jamie's 13th birthday with a bonfire and campout.
I can't believe I now have two teenagers!
I normally try to stay away from this sport for fear of getting shot at :) :) .... This time I decided to venture out through the woods to find the guys and capture a few action shots. Happy Birthday Jamie .......Love ya

Yesterday turned out to be the best day .........even though it was yucky outside and a chance of rain I had a great time shooting two of the cutest little ones inside .......and both were a blessing!  The first baby was CORALINE ROGERS .........she is the daughter of Bekki & Michael Rogers.....I'm sure some of you seen her previous newborn gallery ....... she has grown just a little...here she is at the active six month age and full of personality.   You'll notice that she seems to be crawling toward the camera in alot of the pictures ...... that's because she was...... no doubt I had her full attention.

Coraline is already a Georgia fan as you can see in the pictures below and I'm convinced she will be a little ballet dancer like her momma...... and she already loves the telephone :) - I captured the cutest picture of her calling grandma "Ya maw".   

My favorite pictures are the ones of Coraline in her baby dedication gown.  This was the same gown that her mom (Bekki) wore over 20 years ago.  Isn't that just the sweetest .....I'm so glad that grandmas keep these precious keepsakes.

 My second blessing today was photographing little Maddy Kate ....... she is the newborn daughter of proud parents Katie & Heath Pittman. 
I can't belive that they now have a little one...... I took their engagment and wedding pictures ....now they have a teeny tiny little one..... I can't wait for you to see this wide blue eyed cutie pie ...... she did great for her first photoshoot even though she had a little tummy ache.....I think Maddy was just trying to help dad out so he could watch Georgia Tech play :) :)    Mom and I decided that we'll meet again next week when little Maddy is feeling better ....so for now I've give you a sneak preview of her newborn photoshoot

Lorrie Anne White - Senior 09

LORRIE ANNE WHITE .......... I have watched this sweet and beauftiful young lady grow up...17 years have passed too quickly ......Lorrie Anne's family and my family are the best of friends and have been since our children were just babies ...... I have so many pictures of her growing up ...... I just can't believe that I'm now taking her Senior portraits.  

This is the first set of Lorrie Anne's senior portraits ..... we couldn't have a full session the day we had set for portraits ..... so you'll be seeing a few more as the year goes by.  Lorrie Anne is a senior at Brentwood School and her parents are Tony and Teresa White.
